Dr. Elbert Joseph Campbell—known affectionately by his students as Dr. C—is a nationally recognized chemistry educator with over two decades of combined experience in academia and industry. He earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Northwestern University and his BS in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Prior to transitioning into teaching, Dr. C spent 15 years leading research and development projects at The Dow Chemical Company, gaining real-world expertise in chemical innovation, materials science, and process development.

Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Visiting Faculty Member at multiple institutions, Dr. C teaches chemistry at Elmhurst University and has delivered high-impact courses at the University of Iowa, Doane University, Benedictine University, and community colleges across the country. His teaching portfolio includes General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and GOB (General, Organic, and Biochemistry) courses tailored for pre-med and nursing students.
